Owner description: Opened in 1981, the Wanneroo Botanic Gardens and Mini Golf is just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. Enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant Leapfrogs or experience the Gardens as you play 36 holes of Mini Golf. A kaleidoscope of colours, sights and sounds that will overwhelm your senses. Walk amongst the dappled shade of tall trees as you explore the many flower displays, rockeries and waterfalls. The 18-hole Garden course and the 18-hole Billiard Golf course combine to create Australia’s largest outdoor Mini Golf complex. Terrific fun for the whole family!

I hadn't been here for years, I was pleasantly surprised its grown and the gardens are still amazing. Love the restaurant, staff were friendly and courteous. We had pizzas and beers after a few rounds of golf with the kids. Really enjoyed it, well done for maintaining the amazing gardens.

The mini golf is great I have good fun everytime I come here. There’s nice fish there to look at, good pizzas and they have two types of golf, you can do two or just one.

There are heaps of really nice trees and secret pathway through the garden, we love it. Sam 7years

When we arrived at the Wanneroo Botanic Gardens, it showed that it was closed. It was 5 P.M. That would be too early to close. We entered in the coffee shop and we were told that the mini-golf was closed, not the botanical gardens. They were open for free.

We saw lots of beautiful flowers and many fountains and waterfalls. All the trees and plants were tropical.

They even had a stone bridge. There was even a Japanese garden.

No wonder that so many people come here for their weddings. It is truly beautiful!

When we left, we thanked the people in the coffee shop.

We had a great time!

Wanneroo Botanic Gardens is privately owned, about 45 minutes on the north side of Perth city. It was established in the 1970's and the before and after pictures are amazing as it was just a bare area of sand (that's Perth). You would never guess it by the lush rainforest under tall trees flourishing there. A mini putt-putt golf course winds through the garden which has a cost but the garden itself is free. With a café at the entrance, it seems very popular with all generations and families. It makes a good fun day out beginning or ending with breakfast or lunch. There are different plants flowering at different times of the year such as azaleas and day lillies. There are evergreens, European deciduous and many tall native eucalypts There are many ponds and streams so you are always close to the sound of water. I loved the Washboard Falls, which are very pretty.
A very pleasant family day out!

Spent a great afternoon here with our Daughter and family who live in Perth. We had lots of fun and laughs playing crazy golf and billiard golf in the wonderful gardens. As you walked to each hole there were beautiful gardens, a pool with Koi Carps and lovely areas to look at. We had so much fun competing, even though I came last. Enjoyed the billiard golf, which I have never come across before. We finished the golf and had a drink and snack in the cafe. Pleasurable afternoon and well worth a visit.
