We spent three nights here as part of a getaway as a couple, and it was fantastic.
1. Arrangements: John had everything organized for us, and everything was in order when we arrived, including a friendly and personal welcome.
2. Views: The views from the main windows are just stunning, overlooking the inlet, and you can even see the ocean waves in the distance.
3. Location: It's only a short drive away from Ocean Beach, which is a beautiful spot for surfing and swimming (waves were excellent for surfing on the days we were here!). It's also about 5-10 minutes drive from the middle of Denmark, so we were close to amenities if we needed it. The address is in a very quiet neighbourhood with minimal traffic.
4. Facilities: There were two rooms, one with a large queen bed, the other with a single bed - obviously we only needed the one. The bathroom was large enough, including shower and toilet, and was clean and warm. The airconditioner and other appliances all worked fine. Furniture was somewhat minimalist in style, with wooden dining table and chairs. Also a desk beside the bed if you need it. Wifi was provided and worked well. Some coffee/tea was provided as well. Audio-visual equipment included a blueray player and a good range of films, and not just the usual Hollywood blockbusters.
Very positive experience all round, and a beautiful stay that we much enjoyed, and would highly recommend to others as a great spot!
The beach & inlet are just minutes away and have views to die for. A very short drive from the town of Denmark with shops, restaurants and all amenities necessary. Eagles Nest Ocean Outlook is in a quiet peaceful location suitable for a couple to relax and unwind on the balcony over looking a fabulous view drinking a glass of wine and nibbling on cheese & biscuits.
My husband, Mike and I recently had a very enjoyable stay at Eagles Nest Ocean Lookout in Denmark, Western Australia. The private, self-contained accommodation was well appointed and ideally located between the town and the sea with spectacular, uninterrupted views of Wilson Inlet and the Southern Coast. We had some very pleasant walks to the State Forest and the Bibbulmun Track which were in close proximity. The accommodation was clean and well appointed with a lovely small, sheltered private deck where we could sit outside to further admire the view. Much of the décor was beautifully hand crafted from local timbers and served to help us relax from our very busy city lives. We loved Denmark and especially loved the accommodation - we would definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again one day soon.
