“Secluded.......but close to everything”
Reviewed 10 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We stayed 4 nights in this charming cabin and would recommend it to anyone looking for a base to explore the region, or just to sit and relax. The kitchen contains everything you need and linen and towels are provided. The queen bed in the main bedroom is quite soft, fine for me but not so good for hubby's back. A shelf full of board games and an array of DVD's kept the kids busy in the early mornings and evenings.
Handy tip - keep some low grade mince on hand to feed the magpies. We were expecting kookaburra's but they were quickly chased off. The adult birds were quite gentle in taking the mince from your hand but the younger ones were too eager. Throw some in the air and marvel at their catching skills. Once they are full, find the seeds in the bottom drawer and scatter along the rails of the balcony for the parrots and galahs.

“Clean & cosy retreat - great base for exploring natural Denmark”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Perfect for family of 4 or romantic couple's getway - well appointed and very comfortable A-frame chalet - enjoy a touch of Scandanavia amongst the Kari trees! Close to town and natural attractions of area by car or cycle and short walk to lovely trail along Inlet. Enjoy feeding the parrot and magpie visitors in the mornings and reconnect in the evenings by the warmth of the fire and BYO entertainment. Hot shower and very comfortable beds. 4 nights was perfect and good value. Visitor's journal is an entertaining read.

Liked best: All great - minimal TV reception a bonus. Mobile phone reception OK.
Liked least: Adding Wi-fi access would make it perfect - to help research details of attractions/activities.

“Cosy cottage in a forest setting”
Reviewed 9 January 2013 for a stay in January 2013

A cute little cottage fully equiped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Best suited for a family with children. There is a very comfortable queen sized bed but the 2 single beds were a little small for my 6 foot tall teenagers.

The forest setting is lovely, it was very peaceful sitting on the balcony watching the bird life, drinking the local wine and eating the local olives. We were in Demark during a very hot week but it was still very cool amongst the trees.

The cottage is a 5 minute drive from Ocean Beach in one direction and another 5 minutes to the town in the other direction. There's large supermarket in the town, many very good coffee shops and a very good bakery.

It was a mobile phone dead spot - we needed to walk up to the road outside to get coverage.
