Annica is located in the beautiful south west country town of Denmark. The owner, Marian, has created a space which instantly makes you feel warm and welcomed.

Sitting on a pretty natural bush block with an abundance of wildlife, it's the most perfect place to sit back, relax and completely detach from the world. In the mornings you are visited by the renowed electric blue fairy wrens and you can hear the sounds of the ocean in the distance. What a way to start your day!!

The mezzanine bedroom has its own private balcony with views to the Southern Ocean and Wilson Inlet.

The beautiful spacious kitchen is fully equiped with everything you would could possibly need making it an enjoyable place to cook up a storm. If you feel like an easy day, there’s also a large BBQ.

There’s something unique about this Annicca that makes you want to keep coming back. It's nothing like anywhere else we have stayed. It has all the features you would want in a holiday home while still maintaining all the elements that make it more than simply a place to drop your bags. We would, and do, highly recommend Annicca to anyone looking for a getaway.

Annicca is a tranquil, fun, warm, fully equipped home that we would highly recommend to anyone wishing to get away to a log cabin, with a fire place at a clearly loved home.

Lovely timber chalet style home with all the amenities. Peaceful retreat from your working world and great getaway as there is no mobile coverage - so no phone calls - landline is available for use though. Grounds were delightful and we particularly enjoyed the fire and spa during the wintery days.

Annicca is the perfect place to be if you simply want to detach from the busy city life and engulf yourself in the serenity and raw beauty of nature.

The lodge itself is complete with all the amenities for sleep, bath & relaxation (love the solarium and spa), cooking and dining, fun (pool table), heating, and basic audio/video needs. There are many spots for unwinding and/or meditation.

The fireplace provides the perfect ambience for cold/wintery nights.. a personal favourite! During our short stay we under-estimated the amount of firewood that we could use and ended up using all the spare bags. NOTE for future visits: inform the house manager in advance about having ample firewood!

What I like about Annicca is its rustic theme. The lodge, although shows signs of age, is clean, tidy and well maintained. There is no access to the internet, which quickly becomes a non-issue as it induces a more personal connection to the place, environment and the person (or people) you're with. It can house three to four couples. There is plenty of room for a short walk around the property-a bliss for nature lovers. Then again, you're also not too far from the beach!

It might be far from Perth but I wouldn't mind coming back here for summer breaks as well! :-)
