Tonight we had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Z. We were told about this restaurant by Lisha, the concierge at the Marriott Ocean club, who said this was her favorite restaurant in Aruba. We are so glad we listened to her recommendation! The Ocean Z is an intimate restaurant, located at the Ocean Z hotel. It has an air of ambiance to it We were seated at a lovely table outside . We had to!d our concierge we had specific dietary needs, and after we were seated, Eva, the owner of the establishment, personally came to our table and said she knew of our needs and would personally ensure that our meal would be perfect. And she definitely did deliver. We had one of the most amazing meals on the island. From the tuna tartare appetizer, which was a huge dish (about twice the size of any we had had at other restaurants), to the salmon entree, which was fresh and cooked just perfectly, to the tiramisu, with crunchy bits of chocolate inside, Every facet of our meal was absolutely amazing. As good as our meal was, it did not compare to the graciousness and warmth of Eva. All of Aruba is struggling at the moment, and the tourism and restaurant industries have been challenged like never before. Eva was so happy and grateful for our patronage, and we couldn't thank her enough for hosting us. This is our new favorite restaurant, and we look forward to returning soon!

This was our second visit for dinner. Very good food, atmosphere, service-we sat inside, as pictured left. It's our favorite overall experience dining spot. We tried Paella which takes extra time to prepare, but well worth the wait. Our appetizer Coquille St. Jacques was so good. Their fresh baked little loafs of bread complement whatever you're having. The owner/host is always interested in her guests, it's a special place.

I really loved this restaurant. We came here with my family of 4. While all that we ordered was really tasty, the paella was very memorable. The owner really went out of her way to please all the diners (us included). You can see when someone puts their love into their place. Highly recommend this place as top 5 restaurants in Aruba.

The food, view, and service here are absolutely remarkable. Amazing experience, the food left us utterly speechless!!
