Not very exciting but must say the view is beautiful. A a previous reviewer said it’s badical a hotel now with giant turtles from The Seychelles- this is the most interesting thing about it. Our guide was bad which may have contributed to the overall bad experience. He was a 20 something local who was arrogant, disinterested, in his cell phone and bored.
We paid $100 USD for a combo tour of a spice farm, reserve with monkeys, Stonetown ( interesting) and Prison Island.
Way to much $$$. Wish I had known about the Cheetah Rescue - would have loved that!!!

Thank beth k

You usually stay here for an hour or 1.5 hours. This is enough to walk around the island, see the remaining buildings, visit the turtles and have a walk on the small beach. The wooden bridge looks great but it was under construction when I was there. Furthermore the 'prison' is nice to see but is not that spectacular. A noticed that the other buildings were not accessible. We saw a suni deer which was really fun to see. Small tip: go to the end of the walking road at the prison buildings. There you can go through a door to a cliff on the side where you have a sit and relax with an amazing view
