Jabali Ridge is just ‘heaven on earth’. It is hard to find the right words to describe how beautiful it is and how much I enjoyed my stay there.

The camp is nestled in a spectacular setting and offers great architecture and all amenities you can think of. It is wonderful to chill in the infinity pool and enjoy the breathtaking view.

Our guide Stanley was just fantastic. He has a deep and impressive knowledge, a good sense of humor and always a great smile. It was a real pleasure and great fun to spend a lot of time out there with him. We had fantastic game drives and were lucky to see a lot of lions, wild dogs, leopards, elephants and much more.

All staff is extremely charming and friendly. They always pay attention and take care of you in the best way you can imagine. You feel very very welcome all the time. Food is excellent, and you can enjoy sundowner drinks and dinner in spectacular surroundings and settings.

Another plus is Asilia’s wonderful philosophy and positive impact on environment, community and ecology.

Thank you all – Kristina, Martin, Brenda, Jubilation, Frank, Victoria, Neema, Messaia, Stanley – for making my stay unforgettable! I hope to come back soon again! Asante Sana!

This luxury lodge is an architect's dream, set high up with breathtaking views across the plains and with doorstep access to fantastic game viewing. The staff were excellent and very attentive and friendly. There is a pool which is divine and very welcome to cool off in. The rooms are spacious and airy, each with a large deck area, although the actual storage area is limited. Do note that the laundry service does not include any underwear, ladies or mens, you have to do this yourself. The cuisine is very varied and very fashionable, featuring many local spicy and vegetarian dishes. The guides are all very experienced and are good drivers. The bush breakfasts were a real treat.

Jabali Ridge is perfectly blended into the rock and landscape, i really love the camp design and also the infinity pool overlooking the plains with lots of Baobab.

The chef is from Zanzibar and he cooks very delicious curry and hamburger, the dinner setup around the rock is stunning and credit to the whole Jabali Team. The area has a very good lion number and we didn't fail to see them in every game drives, we were without the leopard luck this time but doesn't mean there isn't any, the other guests have 3 leopard sighting in 2 days and even the endangered wild dogs!!

In general the game in Ruaha is not as abundant as Serengeti while it offers very exclusive safari experience without many vehicles in the park. We really enjoy our stay and hopefully we will come back during peak season next time.

It is hard to really describe just how wonderful is a stay at Jabali Ridge. My wife and I had the good fortune to visit in September 2018 (our second trip to Tanzania). The views from Jabali Ridge truly wonderful... the web site does not do the infinity pool justice - take a dip, have a drink and watch the sunset - WOW!!!!!

But it really gets better from there... the rooms are great and the staff - so friendly and accommodating - the best we have ever experienced anywhere and we have been fortunate to travel quite a lot.

The food, variety and presentation - first rate... the chef and assistant made this special!!!

Our guides Charles and the ever smiling Godlisten knew and understood the flora and fauna as well as any guides we have ever had and we were fortunate to get many great photos of leopard, lion, - you name it we saw it...

There are many wonderful things to see and experience in Africa but I can truly say Jabali Ridge is top of the list for a return visit...

Room tip: every room at Jabali Ridge has great views

After going to Tanzanian camps for the last 30 years this was the first time we visited Ruaha. It was a pleasant surprise and Asilia’s Jabali Ridge turned out to be a very pleasant place to stay. We had one of the greatest guides that we have encountered with a perfect knowledge of the fauna and flora as well as the history of Tanzania. His English was also very good. I am talking of Moinga Timan. His “apprentice” Marcus will definitely follow in his footsteps and in our next visit we hope to be lucky enough to have them both as guides. The rest of the team was also first rate and I will not name anyone in particular because we do not remember all the names and because they were all first rate.
If there was anything less positive, in our opinion, and also different from most other camps of this category that we know would be their “insistence” on buffet meals. Another minus, in our opinion, was the frequent separation of guests during meals thus reducing the opportunity to exchange ideias among each other especially at the end of the day. Otherwise we strongly recommend the Jabali Ridge as we plan and hope to return asap.
