I stayed at Sannyasa Villa on a yoga retreat for 4 days and what an amazing experience it was. Even before I arrived the owner kept in contact to ensure that all would run smoothly for my arrival and it was comforting to know that someone from the villa would be picking me up from the airport .
The property is tucked away in a quiet part of Trou aux Biches not far from the beach. My air conditioned room was well appointed and the en-suite shower room was generously sized, modern and plenty of fluffy towels. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need for a `home from home` comfortable stay. You can relax in the pretty garden and cool off in the lovely pool.
In the village you will find everything you need pharmacy, shops, cafes, restaurants, bank and post office The beach is a short stroll away where you can book boat trips, water sports. There are pop up food stalls and there`s a great place for a coffee stop along the beach. The food in the local restaurants is excellent !!
The staff at Sannyasa are so welcoming , helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble

We spent 2 weeks in Sannyasa , First One in yoga retreat : 5 am pranayama on the sea (sometimes with turtles) , breakfast , 10 am hatha yoga and in the afternoon meditation class and at night delicious vegetarian dinner !

The good thing has always been the atmosphere and the environment.
Vishal and his team (or second family) has been always present to talk about anything and in particular of spiritual matters.

Ah ... I almost forgot it .. we were at 80 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius...

So happy to have chosen Sannyasa and met all of them!

The whole Sannyasa team went above and beyond to help us, we felt welcome, relaxed and got to learn about the real Mauritius. The extra bonus is their spiritual yoga and meditation work, I have been explored this work for many years and their knowledge was outstanding. It was like home from home! I highly recommend tasting the local homemade traditional Maurician food their amazing chef cooks, the pranayama class in the morning watching the sunrise on the beach, the hatha yoga, guided candlelight sunset meditation and a massage that left me floating on air. This is a very special experience I will never forget, thank you Sannyasa, we'll be back :)
