The accommodation (3 bed bungalow) was good, very clean and one must pay the extra for air conditioning to survive the heat. The shower in the second bathroom was not usable, the water flowed out into the living areas. The rooms close to the bar and dining area gets very noisy at night. The live music every night was good. The breakfasts were good, with sufficient variety. The dinners were mostly good. It is not a swimming beach, lots of rocks and broken coral. You would be able to go in with swimming shoes. The swimming pool is nice, however, most days there was a lot of chemicals floating in the pool. The Jacuzzi did not work. The 3 times a week water sports as indicated on the web site was not available as there was no skipper. Was disappointment with the payment arrangements, they quoted in Euros, when it was time to pay they converted to Mauritian rupees, then the conversion to the currency of my country.

Stayed in one of the "new" apartments. These are some units in the hotel which were sold off to private persons who rent them out. Cockaroaches, blocked shower, unbearable loud noise due to it being right next to the nightly entertainment. Very windy side of the bay. Drinks at pool bar the most expensive experienced on the island -Phoenix beer even more expensive than an upmarket hotel down the beach.

Good breakfast spread and some staff were nice. However, they are very insistent on having you eat at the hotel. I was told that there was nowhere else with food outside, and I had to eat in the hotel, only to find few restaurants opened for business outside. Staff also leave at 10pm, which is inconvenient. The biggest put off was their in-hotel tour guide. Do not go with the guide provided as they overcharge significantly, change plans for the day, and make it seem like you're getting a good offer. You are not. The guide even gave me a receipt for a full day tour, when all he did was drop us off and pick us up and told us not to tell the hotel staff. They are very dodgy, do not trust the staff. Having said that, some are nice. The select few made the experience bad. Best to plan your own activities outside the hotel, and ask the concierge as little as possible

Picturs are WAY prettier than reality and its not a swimming Beach. It is a strange place with two different places and you have to go from the beach. They ask for your creditcard information and CVR code. Rooms get cleaned very late in the day and there is a massiv amount of clorin in the pools, seen with own eyes that they just trow piles of clorin in the edges of the pools. We are also pretty sure that they are making people from Africa work all day long... they just sleep on the sunbeds at night if they can get away with it. The OLD staff in the dining area are rude and NOT frendly at all. All in all a very strange place we would NOT recomend others to stay at.

This hotel is really a nice attraction in itself. Specially the pool view rooms and sea facing rooms are worth staying. we enjoyed hotel facilities, food and complimentary activities. Hotel has all the required facilities, rooms are nice and clean.
