Food was good. The service was very poor. Sat over 15 minutes before the waitress showed up to our table. Spent over 1 hour until order came to the table.

stopped in on a friday afternoon and walked up the steps to the nearly empty deck. a passing waitress said, over her shoulder, 'you have to go inside, we have reservations'. Seriously? so we left and went to Dashers in Homer where the staff is actually pleasant and the food great.

Lunch here was delicious. We enjoyed sandwiches and wraps from a diverse menu that offers salads, seafood, steak, pizza and pasta. Locally brewed beer of many varieties bottled and draft. Have it your way: pizza or pasta you can customize to your taste. Specials of the day at reasonable prices. There are many sides to choose from including familiar french fries, coleslaw, or tossed salad; or opt for sautéed greens (tasty) or onion rings. Eat inside, on the deck or carry out. When you order you might want to have a second choice handy just in case. (They were out of hamburger and certain beers the day we visited.) Your second choice is bound to please, so don’t be put off by the initial disappointment.

Dinner was mixed - both steaks had to be sent back as overdone and there was quite a long wait for the perfectly done replacements. the 'special' cost more than the same item on the menu, which was a puzzle. The seafood entre was perfect. we figure the waitress was new. probably won't return.

Last Saturday I was with a group of 3 friends (and one infant) for lunch. We had chosen this venue a week or so in advance. From the outside I thought: "Oh, cool!". However, many things came up that made me think it was time to review. We went in and were given a choice of rooms to eat in. Many tables were in each area. So, walking in the tables seemed a bit bigger, but were in a heavy traffic area near what appeared to be the pizza kitchen. This had no view. We went to the next room and initially chose a booth with a table that seemed a bit bigger. When our friend with the baby arrived she wanted to sit where she could put the baby's seat on the floor. We moved to a table that was near the bow window. The table was tiny for 4. Wedged in behind us was a table for two. We asked if we could push this table with our. Nope! Joining tables together was against the rules. In the room next to us was a group of about 20 people. Members of the group were LITERALLY yelling back and forth across the room making it impossible for us to converse. Evidently, loud yelling is NOT against the rules. One of my friends ordered a lunch that was served in a cheap plastic basket. When she asked for a plate, she was given one that was so small part of her lunch fell onto the table. When I ordered (the most expensive item on the menu) I wanted to substitute coleslaw for the salad (due to the romaine lettuce scare). Although the salad was more expensive, can you guess the response? Substitutions are not allowed. We wound up clearing our own table and putting the dishes on the tiny two person table that was now blocked in because our chairs were out so we would have room for our plates and drinks. The waitress kept apologizing for the poor service explaining that there was a party of 20 in the next room (it would seem the management would have better prepared for this). This was NOT a good experience. Although the food was very good, I will NEVER go back. The service and policies were questionable to say the least. I drove nearly an hour to get here and had been looking forward to this lunch since last Saturday, I have regretted the decision to eat here.
