Enjoyed a second visit here and the food, service and setting were once again excellent.

The restaurant is privately owned and located within a Best Western Hotel, which quite frankly is the reason that we had never dined here, up until last year. Don’t let this dissuade you from dining here.

It’s a small and intimate restaurant with a bar and comfortable dining. The staff is excellent and the food is delicious. Fillet was cooked to perfection and the veal was delicious.

Chosen because of its # 1 TA ratings for Syracuse steakhouses, we opted for Daniella's on Father's Day, knowing that it's be busy. We were fortunate to get an 8 PM reservation, and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Seated at the bar while waiting for our table, we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink and friendly conversation with guests staying at the adjoining hotel.

Once seated, the service was fast & friendly, and began with some wonderful warm, soft & chewy bread. Our orders included Caesar & tossed salads, French onion soup, prime rib au jus, and NY strip steaks.

Disappointingly, the steaks ordered "medium" came pretty much "well done" - without any pink in the centre. My prime rib, ordered med-rare came perfectly cooked but was a bit on the "chewy" side - not as tender as hoped.

The Caesar salads were great, but my tossed salad was drowned in 1000 Island dressing, so much so that some of it was inedible. The garlic mashed potatoes, veggie sides, soup ... were all very good.

For a # 1 rated steakhouse, we were disappointed with the quality & preparation of the beef.

Cost for 4 with soft drinks: $ 125. + gratuity

Been there numerous times and have never been disappointed. The meals were excellent and the service was great. I suggest reservations since it is a small setting.

Located at the Best Western Hotel. It's a small restaurant, make reservations. We had a group of 10 on a Monday and the place was constantly busy. Ordered Top Sirloin, a smaller cut because I wanted dessert but I accompanied the steak with one of their 8 toppings choices, Poseidon Adventure ( broiled scallops, shrimp and lobster sauce), shrimp had a nice flavor you find in Gulf shrimp but even with the topping I could taste the seared steak. Chose the bake potato it was enormous. Wife had Veal Marsala she loved it. One member had the "Texas Cowboy" rib eye 40 oz. Reasonably priced. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.

We went there due to Tripadvisor reviews and will be back again and again. I had a filet which was the best piece of beef I had had in years. The meal was excellent and everything was done to perfection. Table linens, wait staff and decor accompany your dining experience. Went there on a Friday night and they were extremely busy. The restaurant is small so tables are compact to say the least. But if you want a perfect meal this is what you do. If staying at the Best Western which is adjacent be sure and make reservation at the time you book because you may not get a table otherwise.
