When one of the parties works out in advance with the chef owner a preset wine tasting dinner of 5 courses that includes foie gras 2 ways, venison etc and the chef knows in advance that the group he’s catering to are sophisticated eaters, (all excellent cooks themselves, and Davy wine collectors there’s an extreme amount of pressure. Mosaic dropped the ball again, for some of us the 3rd time. I’m not saying you can’t have a nice meal on any given night but for a sophisticated menu not here.
