I stayed her overnight as my son was visitng the college. The house is an older building with large function rooms on the first floor. I booked a two bedroom room on the second floor which was actually lovely. We couldn't believe that the light switch was an old fashioned push button. The bathroom had been remodeled with up to date toilet and sink. The location was excellent as you could walk to the college or just a minute or two away is college ave with several food places and the vassar bookstore. There is a library with one computer and printer. there are larger function halls on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the college.

We were visiting campus so it was a great location. Old charm but beds were hard to sleep in. It is great for a college visit but that is all it is meant for. That is the only purpose to stay on a trip through NY.

I stayed here with my daughter for a visit to Vassar College. Our room was charming and historic, but a little worse for the wear. Do not expect typical hotel or b n b services and you will not be disappointed. The bed was comfortable, though. Lots of extra blankets and pillows so we were able to be cozy. The location cannot be beat for visiting Vassar; it is right across the street from the campus, and near all the little restaurants that cater to the students.
