We are not dog owners, but we're used to having dogs as neighbors in our hotel stays. We're generally fine with it, because most hotels segregate their guests with pets from those without. So we were surprised when we checked in and were put in a room directly across the hall from a dog (possibly two...or just one very noisy one). Of course, the commotion didn't start until we were completely unpacked and settled in. Then, all hell broke loose. Dog(s) barking, adults yelling at the dog(s) to stop barking, and kids running up and down the halls shrieking. (No amount of white noise could have masked this.) This went on for some time until we finally cracked and asked to be moved to another room. What bothered us the most was that we had specifically requested a quiet room at check in, and later learned that our first room was known to be just the opposite. So why put us there, when the hotel wasn't nearly full? The hotel was otherwise fine, but this experience soured our stay. Bottom line...be aware that this hotel is completely pet friendly, doesn't have separate wings or floors for pets.
