While in the Chautauqua region my wife and I wanted to visit a winery or two, and we are very glad we chose to stop at 21 Brix. We enjoyed our visit for a variety of reasons in addition to some good wine. We ended up stopping around midday because they offer a soup and wine combo, which made for a great lunch stop. After a tasting, we found some wines we liked and had a glass with our soup. Afterwards, we played some boardgames that the winery had made available and enjoyed more wine. During our time there, the staff was friendly and helpful with all of the questions we had. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and I would recommend the winery to anyone.

We decided to stop in and check them out again on this visit. They seem to have added a few more selections to their sweeter wine selections. Had a few we liked, ended up buying a bottle this trip.
We had a quick snack outside at one of the picnic tables, the cool breeze blowing had the lovely aroma of the grapes swirling around. It made for a very nice visit, we will stop in again the next time we visit the area.

I liked all the wines I tasted but especially enjoyed the fruit ones. The raspberry was just like the real berries & the apple tasted spicy like an apple pie. However I bought the cherry. As it is made with sour cherries it isn't quite as sweet as most cherry wines. The next time I am visiting this area, I will be sure to stop at the Pink Elephant again.
