Located on the back slope of the village the hotel is in walking distance from the center and the crater rim.
To get there you can chose between the main road (cars) and a labyrinth of pittoresque but narrow alleys (mules).
That early in the season (early March) the nights can still be cold but the ac/heating system worked well however, the bathroom can be damp in the morning.
Our room was at the pool level (just a few steps) and had a separate sitting area with a lot of sunshine.
A small but substantial breakfast buffet was served one flight up with a nice ocean view.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff are awesome! Helpful and kind! Room is very clean and the general feeling saying here is wonderful! Highly recommended! Quit and very close to the center. Road is not noisy as the room has a good wooden doors and windows. No sunlight in the room while doors and windows are closed and definitely no noise.

Amerisa Suites is a very good hotel.
Rooms are BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN. The breakfast on the rooftop are good but not so much choice.

Staff is clearly the best thing in the hotel! They are polite, helpful, all smile, friendly and professional. Wow!

BUT, the main problem is the NOISE! Rooms are so near the street, you feel like you are right in the middle of the busy street...! Ouf! But the location is perfect! We can walk to Fira, cable car, markets, nice streets and bus station to go anywhere!

So, there are very good aspects, but other less pleasant...

Thanks again to the staff!!!!

The hotel staff is really helpful and great. The breakfast was alright. The view is good. Good for someone requiring private time and moments. The rooms are alright. It has underground parking facility.

our trip to santorini started in a disaster with us booking the wrong hotel and the taxi dropping us off at the side of a street we went into amerisa suites to ask for directions and yannis on reception was so helpful that after arriving at our hotel we decided to leave there and book into amerisa hotel was so clean and the staff are beyond helpful there was also a lady on reception we never got her name but she was so friendly and helpful this hotel made the best of a really bad start to our few days here the only thing i will say is try to avoid the pool as it is on the main road and not very relaxing with noise of traffic but other than that minor detail its a great place to stay
