The first tour that we went on was a wine and history tour during your honeymoon. We were picked up and taken to the ancient city of Akortiri. They hired a guide and it was such a great tour. The tour guide had over 30 years of experience. It was super informative and it was easy to ask questions. After the history tour, we went to three different wineries. They were very nice and each had a small nibble of food enough for lunch. The wineries ranged from old school to modern style. We had a great time. On the second tour, we did a cooking and wine tour. It turned out to be a private tour with just us and a guide. The guide was amazing and tailored the tour to our wants. My husband loved Nykteri and I loved Vinsanto so he made sure to get different years of those out for us. He was so sweet and even volunteered to show us a beach if we had time. The guide showed us all the history of one of the wineries and it was fascinating. After the wine tour, we went straight to the cooking class. The cooking class had to be one of our favorite things that we did on the island. The chef was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She showed us how to make a santorini salad, fava, tomato fritters, and pork in a wine sauce. We had fun making it and then eating it.They even let us substitute the pork for chicken. We got to take the recipes home. We had ample time to eat the dinner that we made. Our guide drove us to our hotel after. It was all a very magical experience. I didn't even realize that they were the same company until the day of. I would highly recommend taking a tour with this company. They are great and you'll create some lasting memories.
