This place has completely exceeded any expectation. I am so grateful for my experience at the Haven. My husband and I enjoyed activities such as bike riding, ping pong, trail walks, flower baths, stunning views! We even had monkeys greeting us in the morning! The food was excellent, and the attention to detail in our cabin was remarkable. I can’t give enough compliments for this property honestly. Such an amazing stay! Will absolutely return. 5 stars!More
My son and I traveled to Uganda in December 2020 and had the fortune to stay at The Haven. The service was attentive and warm, the room comfortable and clean, and the location just on the Nile river was optimal.

The Haven is a an eco-lodge where nature and beauty are rolled into one. Sitting on the banks of the Nile, the breeze of the world's longest river creates a glorious atmosphere that matches the ambience of the lodges designed with a typically traditional African touch. The fauna and flora, hospitality, variety of indoor and outdoor games together with the exceptional meals make it a place you want to visit again and again. The Haven is nature at its finest.Highly recommended for both family and couple get away from the normal life routine.

Very beautiful place, with very lovely, friendly and hospitable staff. We loved our stay at the Haven. The views are incredible, tranquility here like no place I have been to. Would fully recommend this place to all friends and family.

The Haven is a gorgeous and restful respite from all the busyness of life. David, Sarah, Charles, and the rest of the staff are delightful and helpful, the food is absolutely incredible, and the surroundings are stunning. I look forward to returning!
Thanks for Your very nice review. You named it, somehow after long African Travels I were looking for a place to recharge with friendly welcoming people and a gorgeous scenery....so I built The Haven in Namiyagi! :-) During weekdays is actually the best to enjoy the quietness on top of it.
We stayed for the weekend and it was all perfect. Great location, great accommodation and great food and service. We went for horse riding, but most of the time we enjoyed staying at the Haven to enjoy the amazing views on the nile and the rapids from the restaurant or the cottage. A complete stress free safe place, beautifully designed and the best place to stay at the source of the Nile.
