We stayed in February. Great location, not in town but only a couple of minutes to get there. The price can't be beat anywhere in the area for a 1 bedroom suite , spacious clean rooms, small but nice pool area. My only complaint is there are no food options from 11am till 5pm so if your at the hotel during those times and hungry you have to go out or order delivery from elsewhere. Hopefully they'll change this

We came to the Marriott because prices weren't as expensive as everywhere else on Lake Placid. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very courteous and the attention was very nice. They also had an indoor pool with two hot tubs which did wonders for us after spending the day on the slopes. Parking was available and not a far drive at all from the main street.

We had a nice stay at this hotel just outside of town. It was close enough that most things were a short drive away, but too far for walking. Here are my overall pros and cons:

Pros: Quick check in, Starbucks coffee (should be noted this is not a Starbucks, they just make a handful of Starbucks drinks and it is only open during morning hours), hotel staff made efforts to fulfill all requests, nice, clean spacious lobby to hang out in, would open bottle of wine for you and provide you with glasses (even if you brought your own wine), 2 hot tubs next to pool (nice for enjoying a glass of wine after a day of snow activities), close to town (2 min drive)

Cons: I understand it was a busy time of the year (presidents week) but there were a SERIOUS lack of towels every day, (both pool and bath towels!), room service (when they did come it was hard to tell they'd even been there... they only made the bed 50% of the time, did not restock things such as cups), etc... also breakfast is not included, but can be purchased

Just outside the village, this hotel has nice grounds, spacious public areas, 2 hot tubs, well appointed rooms. Checked in on a busy day (Presidents Week break) but our rooms were ready. Staff was trying their best to move everyone into rooms. The hotel is very clean and attractive. The pool is on the small side and shallow but there are 2 hot tubs. No free breakfast but you can get a buffet or made to order breakfast for a price. The staff was great, saw the general manager making beds! That's the way to have a good morale!

The hotel is not super close to attractions, but isn't far from some great, small restaurants. It was clean and comfortable and useful in a jam (when you can't get boarding) if you have pets. Not luxurious or anything, but nice. Enjoyed our stay.
