The campground has power wires that nearly drag the top of your rv while parking, the sites were set up very oddly with power on one side and water on the other, necessitating buying long wires and hoses. The "pool" is really a glorified pond with algae and pretty disgusting. The seasonal people run the pond yelling at children that are playing. I was not impressed and moved to a different campground. The restrooms were the scariest cross of a outhouse and normal that I have ever seen. Won't be back.

We stayed at site 29 and there was ample room for on 35 foot camper. It had water and electric but no sewer. The only negative to this place is that you have to dump in the back of the campground. If you dont have a portable dumper then you have to drive the camper through the entire campground to dump. Other than that we were able to pull straight through to our site and it was easy to pull out. Had there been someone in 29A we would not have been as fortunate and we would not have had such nice sized space. The sites in the back of the campground are very close together. One thing to keep in mind is New Yorks recycle policy. Glass and plastic cannot go in the garbage and lightly used paper such as newspaper gets recycled as well. The owner was more than happy to give us clear bags as is their garbage policy. They pick up garbage daily from each site but recycling and garbage must be separated. Dont go towards fall if you do not have a shower in your camper. The bathroom was not heated and very cold. The state parks and Ithaca are all within a 20-25 minute drive as are Cornell University and Ithaca College. If you are coming from the South highway 13 is much flatter and smoother for a larger camper than to go the google way through Watkins glen.

The site has considerable possibilities, but it is just not a pleasant place to stay. We found it very overcrowded. The people in the spot next to us, about 20 people, had tents and tables in our spot because they wouldn't fit their spot. But the whole place was overcrowded and sites are small to pack the maximum number of people in. Bathrooms were marginally clean. It was noisy well into the night.

DO NOT go to sites 140 - 148. There is 2 power/water pedistals for 8 campsites. Said they were 30 amp sites but only 6 of them are. Literally need 80 yards of hoses and power cords to reach them. Needless to say most people do not have that much. Why would you ?? Campground owners have none to offer. Owners were unconcerned about it.

We have stayed in one of their RV's several times now, and sadly, the place is going downhill. While it must be a haven of joy for kids (they have an excellent pool, game room, and bikes to rent) they do not enforce quiet hours. Events for the kids can include blaring music that can be heard throughout the site for about two hours. Unfortunately, the RV's are quite dirty and need attention (tape on the window frames, filthy carpeting and indoor seating, cabinet drawers that are broken, mouse droppings in the cabinets, and an extremely loud air conditioner that goes on and off all night. If you are an early riser, don't mind kid's screaming past your site all day on their bikes, have your own young kids, and can really rough it, you might enjoy the place. We were a bit disappointed to find the queen bed was a full, and made of a cheap foam that has the shape of the last person who slept in it, and that there was no door separating the bedroom as the picture on their website showed of the specific RV we were renting. (One of us is a very early riser so we needed this) Hot showers are available, the pool is amazing, and the camp is semi-wooded and nice for taking walks around. It is quite crowded though. There is only phone reception outside the units, and only if you have Verizon. There was absolutely no internet reception at any time at ANY location on the property. Not sure why they say they have wifi- they never had it in all the years we have gone there. This will be our last year there, sadly, because of the noise, condition of the RV's, and lack of any reception or phone/internet signals. If you need it to find places to visit while in the area or need to keep in touch with anyone, this is not your best bet.
