What an incredible lodge hosted by Wayne and Vicky who made sure you are happy in every detail. The rooms are incredible situated on the river with expansive views of wildlife. Food delicious, only wish you had maybe 2 choices at meal times, although I did order my 2 poached eggs/toast for breakfast. We requested Innocent as our guide and he was so good making sure I got the images I wanted. Don’t miss this beautiful lodge.

Lion's Camp is a wonderful lodge. Our guide, Donald, was terrific. Knowledgable, easy going, and patient. My friend and I had a great time there. However, I do have to mention that I did not find the manager, Vicki, to be kind or easy going. We stayed at 3 different lodges over 2 weeks in Zambia. This was the only one where I felt the manager was not hospitable or particularly friendly or helpful. I would stay at the other two, Puku Ridge and Anabezi again in a heartbeat. But not again at Lion Camp.

What a lovely place to come and visit. Vicky and Wayne and their team made us feel so welcome and did everything they possibly could to make our experience at the lodge the best experience possible.

The hut we stayed in was stunning. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, the view was gorgeous with lots of wildlife activity happening all the time, both day and night. The room and bathroom looked fantastic and were so luxurious. And has everything in the you needed.

The food was lovely and of a standard that you would expect to find in the highest end restaurant anywhere in the world. Vicky also made sure that the right wine was available to perfectly match the meal. The house front team were fantastic, being attentive to our needs and so friendly and welcoming…nothing was too much trouble for them.

The wildlife was exactly what you expect from a National park. Lots to see and a huge diversity of plants, animals and birds, in an area that was as varied as it was beautiful. Our guides were very knowledgeable and keen to divulge their knowledge and understanding of the wildlife in the area, not only that, they were friendly, always open to a bit of fun but always highly respectful of and proud of the wildlife we were seeking to ensure we had a safe and varied experience.

To sum up, i cannot think of anything negative to say, we had a great time and i am sad to leave, but will definitely return.
