What truly feels like the middle of nowhere, Buellsport was a very welcome find after a long, tough drive on Namibian roads. Within an hour of arriving, we were sat on a communal dinner table in the garden, complete with candles and fantastic ambience, and offered a three course homemade dinner. This well run, traditional guestfarm takes the time to get to know each guest individually and helps out with your stay. Guided activities are aplenty but we decided to do a hike one morning using the map and route provided by the farm. A comfortable - if not extremely hot and sweaty! - 10km walk starting from the property with clear directions to get you back safely. The farm also provided us with two packed lunches for the road when we left.

Our room was unexpectedly big, decorated traditionally and with very comfortable beds and a huge adjoining bathroom.

Highly recommended if you find yourself in this area of Namibia.

We stayed for a couple of days in this lodge. Even when it is a little bit remote there is a lot to be done. Our children loved the horse riding (the have some of the best trained horses in Namibia), the walk in the canyon was great and the introduction into farm life on the farm tour was very interesting as well.

We stayed at this guest house for two nights, and it was an absolute pleasure. The farm is large, the accommodation is very good, the food is very good, the service is friendly and professional. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. The game drives are good and professional.

We camped for two nights and the location was amazing. Back at the lodge everyone was very friendly and we spent time in the pool and enjoying a drink.

The walking / hiking routes are great also, well signed with maps. We did a sundown horse ride which was excellent with a very informative young guide.

I would return without hesitation.

An unfussy,authentic place to discover the beauty of the Naukluft Mountains. Competent guides, helpful staff and a real family feel to the place. Rooms are large, clean and functional. We stayed as a family of four and can definitely recommend it.
