Thank you for the kind words, we are glad to have made the stay memorable. You chose to right accommodation if you want never ending views, remoteness and a hint of luxury - the best way to experience Africa.
We couldn't be happier with our stay - we were at the lodge for 2 nights in September 2021 and found the staff, accommodations, and ambience to be wonderful. We were especially fond of the walking trails and dinner at the Eagle's Nest (a must-do).
Dear Peter, thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed it.
One of the cool thing about Namibia is that every day, the scenery changes.
In Vingerklip, you feel like being in Monument Valley. This amazing hotel is a perfect stop between Etosha and Damaraland region.
We stayed there for a night and truly enjoyed the Eagle's nest restaurant which clearly is a must do. An amazing BBQ prepared in front of you while you enjoy the most amazing view ever.
highly recommend this stop!!

Hi Max, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The area is truly amazing, having been formed by a glacier 300 million years ago.
We had a wonderful stay at Vingerklip Lodge.
The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and confortable, overlooking the waterhole with plenty of animals coming to drink the water in the evenings and during the day.
The food was also great, with variety of choice.
Although the Eagle's Nest restaurant was closed as the hotel was short of staff due to Covid, the spot was fully accessible and the views were one of the best (if not the best) in Namibia!
Thank you very much for taking time to review the Vingerklip Lodge. We hope to have the Eagle's Nest up and running again soon, so hopefully the next time you can enjoy not only the sundowner but also a dinner up on the 300 million year old Plateau.
If you love views this is the place !!
The chalet was overloaded With too much and old fashioned furniture !
The managers gave a very personale and good service
Will definately come back to this very remote heaven
Hi Duncan - thank you for the review, we appreciated it. We will be constantly renewing the lodge, so hopefully you will see a re-freshed version of this remote heaven.
The cook was brilliant, we enjoyed the best meal we‘ve ever had! The view in the eagles nest restaurant was stunning! Asser served us always with a smile, we had a great chat with him and he appreciated the pens we gave to him. The location and also the view out of the window of our room was really nice!
Thank you for the review. We passed the compliments on to Asser, and his smile was bigger than ever.
