Ravi organised an amazing retreat for my family and myself, for that I can only say it’s right that we give all our appreciation and thanks to him.

From the great service provided by all the staff especially Aubrey to all the amazing facilities, there was no lack of excitement though out our time at Makakola. We had a lovely candle lit dinner on the beach for our last night that was organised by the friendly and helpful staff. It was an excellent farewell.

The rooms were lovely and very comfortable, with maids that made the bed and set up mosquito nets every night.

Overall id definitely come back in the future and would say if you’re in Malawi make sure you come and visit the Makokola retreat.

We went to Makokola for a 3-day business trip with our team and enjoyed every second of our stay. The great views, relaxing and calming atmosphere as well as the extraordinary hospitality of the staff made us feel very welcome. There are different pools, beach access, lots of different areas to hang out. The rooms are great, so is the food.
Would highly recommend if you want a relaxing place to stay!
