By going there we had the luck to see also a couple of whales and a see turtle... Once arrived, we could only admire the natural scenario and enjoy the see... It is a place not to miss!

Two islands joined by a brilliant white stretch of sand and water as clear as a swimming pool. A photographers dream and a lovely local village on the larger of the two islands. Curios and gifts for sale with a few tame lemurs wondering around. We took a stroll to the unused lighthouse which makes for an exquisite view of the sea. The excursion from Andilana resort included the most divine lobster and seafood lunch on another strip of beach near Nosy Iranje lodge. The most wonderful sea at a perfect temperature. Probably the most memorable trip during our stay in Nosy Be.

After two hours of a rough ride passing Dhows and experiencing the utmost beautiful scenery of the Mozambique channel, you arrive at this stunning island taken out of a Robinson Crusoe book. Everything is so picturesque - the fishermen´s village that greets the visitors with their handmade tablecloths as a village canvas. Small children are playing in the magnificent sand with leftover plastic bottles and caps from former visitors that have not realized that plastic does not vanish or disappears. Whatever plastic was produced is still around us, even as microplastic. It is devastating to see the huge amount of plastic pollution of the village. The least visitors can do is to carry their waste and plastic back to the main island to minimize the impact of plastic pollution on the landscape and the ocean.

It is just like your dream come true ! I just don't have the word to explain it. You really have to see it to believe.
The water is blue, with white sand, just a paradise. Wow, nothing to compare with it.
Amazing !

Incredible little oasis of an island, great place to see plenty of turtles and beautiful reefs for snorkeling. A sand connect the main island to a smaller island that can be walked along during low tide which is truly amazing. MadagasCaT charters was how I was able to experience this incredible island and I can highly recommend them.
