The hotel was good for 2 couples or families traveling with adult kids for extra privacy. 2 bedroom suite ew h had separate bathrooms. Quick access to everything. Nice, rocky beach, great for fishing for kids, free parking, and pool. Highly recommended.

Just staying overnight, for 4 of us girls, had a lovely 2 bedroom, compact with everything kitchen (even a great little wine fridge), living room/dining & a spacious balcony. Just a great place. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in a waterfront unit on the Top floor.
The unit was nicely decorated and the view was beautiful.
The resort has a nice beach and the grounds are well kept.Beach is rocky so bring beach shoes.
The resort is family oriented and a good place to bring your family but we were able to find many quiet spots to relax including our beautiful terrace.
This is one of the nicest places to stay in the area.

Room Tip: Book a Top floor waterfront room

When I arrived I was so surprised on the beauty of this place. The living room / kitchen area was large. It was perfect. One of the previous reviews mentioned that there are no ovens, which turned out to be very helpful information to us. We utilized the outdoor barbque, and had a great sunset dinner on our balcony. I could not find one single negative thing to say. We were welcomed, and it was better than I could have imagined.
The shower in the small bathroom was difficult to maneuver in, so I recommend using the larger one, especially since there is no daily room cleaning, and we used the towels to dry up the floor from that first shower. Not a big deal though. We also noticed the wall in the larger bedroom had recently been spackled, and not repainted, which, other than it seeming odd, did not affect our stay.
The uninvited guest? Real or imagined, our first night the door to the larger bedroom opened a little at a time, then all the way at 3 a.m. chain lock was on main door so we were not sure what to make of it. Second night around 3 a.m. we heard rustling coming from the kitchen area where we had our snacks ( chips and cookies). We did not see anyone or anything so again not sure what to make of it. I did mention it( discreetly)
when we checked out. I felt they would want to check the room to be sure there aren’t any “ critters “ sharing the space. I think the woman at the desk may have thought I was a bit nutty though.

Room Tip: Pick Waters edge rooms, although I am sure the others are just as amazing.

The Cliffside resort condos are a wonderful choice for the area. The condos are roomy, comfortable, decorated beautifully with a beach/ocean theme, and come fully equipped with just about anything you need besides your personal belongings.
Located right on the water in Southold, NY the view is gorgeous. There is a beach for swimming or just walking along and plenty of pretty Adirondack chairs out on the lawn for sitting and looking over the water.

Room Tip: Mention it you have any physical limitations as all building have multiple levels (2 or3) so you can be assured of a first floor room.
