Two of us were road tripping and stopped for lunch. I had pulled pork, my friend Mac & Cheese. We shared bread pudding for dessert.
The food wasn’t really bad, but neither was it really good. We agreed we wouldn’t stop again if we came back that way.
The restaurant looked as if it was still being moved into with ladders and uhaul boxes out.
The server was polite but cold. We had to wait for her to channel surf to get our bill.
Maybe it’s a better atmosphere when it’s busier?
First off, couldn't get anyone's attention to be seated. The place was pretty dirty. It is close to Halloween but I guarantee the cobwebs in the light by my table will still be there at Christmas.
So, we got some nachos. Actually a good sized portion and the "chili" and cheese was evenly distributed throughout. Served with a little plastic cup of sour cream and one of Pace picante sauce. The problem? The nachos had no flavor whatsoever. I mean none. The "chili" had to be nothing but hamburger and 'no added sodium' tomato paste. If it weren't for the jalapenos, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was food. Once I added some salt it made it edible but that was about the extent of it. Based on the nachos, we decided to forego an entree. There are other options in town. Take advantage of them.
The absolute worst service I've ever had, a mandatory 20% tip, massive attitude from the wait staff, the assumed my party couldn't afford to pay for the meal and an ungodly long wait time. Took me 20 minutes to get a soda, which drinks aren't listed on the menu by the way, and the waitress raises a finger instead of saying politely to wait a moment and I would never wish this establishment on the worst people in the world. You can't even have a conversation with how loud the music is. Avoid like the black plague
The Irish fries were great so was the Ruben! Service is great and the homemade soups are hot and fresh.
