Getting to interact with the elephants and see their personalities was fantastic. Nelady the baby elephant is hysterical because she is so naughty; it so much fun to see her getting in to all sorts of trouble. Paul Allen (of Microsoft) bought Abu and is dedicated to conservation which is great. The decor was fabulous and had a lighter, but still appropriately rustic, feel than the other lodges that we visited. The staff was great, and our guide Taps was great, SP was new and so wonderful and Kelly surprised us by saying that baboons had gotten in to our tent so that we needed to just make sure everything was okay. We went down and she had filled the outdoor bathtub with bubbles and left us champagne for our anniversary. A spot not to miss!
