Wonderful food, great service and fantastic game drives. We stayed there as part of a 5-daymountain trip with mtbsafaris.com and the overall experience was amazing. The biking was great, tent camps were great fun and the lodge was superb. Shame we could only stay one night!

Room Tip: Room 16 - the presidential suite!

What a delight to stay at the Mashatu Main Camp. There was simply no end to the variety of animals and each excursion was breathtaking. The main camp Is luxurious with all the amenities you need to ensure a very comfortable stay. The staff at Mashatu were wonderful and all of them made great effort to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

An incredible experience!!
Mashatu is a magnificent creation where viewing exquisite wild animals is a step away from an inviting and luxurious room to relax in. Add to that great food, a pool to cool off in, attentive staff and all you really have to do is sit back and enjoy a truly remarkable experience.

A unique camp tucked quietly into the Botswana plains in the Tuli reserve area. The service is sincere, always good and on the spot. You feel like family by the time you leave this special place. Our guide , Kenosi, is a wonderful person with deep knowledge of the animals and their habitat. He put us on literally every animal we requested and he knew when the action was about to take place, would position our vehicle for best photo angles and we would watch the action come to us. Amazing. Abel, our tracker , was just as adept at describing a situation and tracking the animals.

This is a special place that is hard to describe - I will be back.

And, I recommend the photography "hide" side trip early in your stay, you go in with a pro photographer and get all the benefits of that plus you are at eye level with the animals that show up to the watering hole. Most of my best pics where from that drive and I was a much better photographer the rest of the trip

Room Tip: get a room on the watering hole for extra animal viewings

We had amazing experiences here including observing a group of cheetah chase and kill a kudu. It is hard to add to the other reviews. This place is simply the best. We had two guides in each vehicle: one to drive and one to spot (esp. at night). They answered all of our questions and did a terrific job of finding interesting things to see. We also did a walk to learn about scat and caught the interest of some hyena cubs. They are very curious and came right up to us. Also saw amazing bee-eater birds and of course the lilac breasted roller.

Stunning Gameviewing and service beyond the norm. We own a Lodge in the Greater Kruger PArk, and we have never had Game Viewing of this quality and quantity. The Rangers went far and beyond to ensure that all guests saw what they were hoping to see.Meals were wonderful and the F & B team served the most incredible fare, I consider myself well versed in Safari travels and experiences and this rates as the best ever!!

Room Tip: Get a beautiful room facing the waterhole
