A very friendly family run operation. Thanks to George, Dave, Chantel, John and Marg. Fantastic food too!
The rooms are well appointed but have no electricity for charging equipment and only have solar panels for hot water, so, no sun, no hot water. We were under the impression that we could drive our own vehicle for photographic purposes but this was not the case. When we heard that others had seen two lion kills and cubs on the morning drive and we expressed extreme interest on being taken to the site, as we had not seen them, we were only taken there on the evening drive and missed the kill and the cub sightings. Being a small operation they did try to accommodate our photographic needs but we kept missing out. Unfortunately, our solid state drive was also damaged as someone disconnected our laptop in their office, where we had gained permission to use a plug point and we got clarity that they never had any power problems. Had we know, we would never had used the plug point and from then on ran our private car each day with it's inverter system for all our data transfer and charging needs. I think this would be a photographers dream place if one had a vehicle assigned specifically.More
