This place needs a menu and decor overhaul and guidance in creating ambience. It was cold outside so we chose to sit inside - dark, murky and cold despite the fire. Staff were pleasant. Very typical, old style South African menu. Food service was fast (but it was quiet). Panfried trout perfectly cooked but lacked flavour. Steak was tender but undercooked. Neither main meals were value for money. When will restaurants learn to serve food on hot plates - especially in winter! Another constant suggestion I have with small country restaurants - spend some money on uniforms as your staffs choice of clothing does not necessarily enhance the professionalism of your shop.
