We went with Dave on trolley around Taos AND to Tiwa (Red Willow tribe) Pueblo. Wonderful native tour guide who explained their culture and history. It was $43.00 per person but so very worth it!! At the Pueblo (Tiwa), you will be at there for one hour and your trolley fee includes entrance and tour guide. Trips are optional. A short stop at the Lady Guadalupe church is filled with history. A stop at their cemetery and various homes for samples of their foods, jewelry and crafts is available. Trolley is open air (no A/C, but very comfortable. Cold bottled water is available for free on trolley.

The tour was exceptional especially the time we spent at Taos Pueblo. Although we had one woman that was always late and rude, we still had a very worthwhile experience.

This tour, with Taos native Dave, was very informative. We started at the Indian Pueblo for about 1 hour, then continued in and around Taos. Dave was extremely knowledgeable and a perfect guide. Free municipal parking was one block away.

The trolley driver and pueblo guide both gave interesting insights into Taos Pueblo, a piece of living history. The pueblo residents that we encountered were welcoming. The restroom facilities were modern. We enjoyed the blue corn fry bread and bread baked in the horno. Questions were answered fully and honestly. It is an opportunity for new visitors to New Mexico as well as long-time residents of the state to review their perspectives on history. The tour is of interest to all ages.
Our guide showed us other sites near Taos which we will return to visit. The trolley was fun. We enjoyed the tour.

First day in Taos we decided an overview would be a good first step and it definity was. Our guide was well informed and personable and the tour gave us a great start to our trip. We saw Taos and the outskirts. We saw churches and museums and we stopped at The Pueblo for a walking tour. It was all great. I would recommend for anyone who is new to Taos.
