This place is just amazing! The rooms and food are spectacular and they even have a couple of swimming pools and gym in the middle of the bush. The game drives were awesome and we saw the big 5 more than once in two days. Gavin is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to track the animals. Heidi along with her staff are always friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend Tuningi for any family, couples or friends looking for a holiday in the African bush!

Amazing Lodge with friendly staff. Great Food. Lovely spacious rooms, big bathroom with views from your bathtub and outside shower, Nespresso coffe machine, gas fireplace and great views of the savannah. Watering hole with elephants and other animals visiting every day. Have been there twice and wish to go back again.

Amazing location and facilities. All staff were excellent and friendly. Our guide Cornelius was professional and amazingly knowledgable. His diligence and location knowledge enabled him to find the animals around the reserve - nothing tagged! Chantelle, the manageress, was also wonderfully cheerful and welcoming. I was made to feel extra special as it was my birthday whilst we were at Tuningi. The hide at the waterhole provides some special viewing of the animals. Big five ticked!
We are a french family of 5; we loved the setting and landscape around the lodge; and great attentions towards children (toys, games and drawings in the rooms) and a super nanny at lunch time to entertain. Game-drive was not outsanding but this is part of good or bad luck and our ranger is there for 13 years, a real pro : a lodge fot visitors looking for authenticity in the bush !
Food... a bit too stylish and not our tastes but chef is adorable (and diner at Boma a great experience).
Well what can I say. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the accomodation, food and surroundings. This is just the most special place and has to be seen to be believed. the game drives were incredible - our guide andre was great and we all learnt such a lot from him. We had some incredible sightings. Cheetahs, a huge parade of elephants, rhino.... and even mating lions.... not to be forgotten :)
Thank you to everyone at Tuningi. we loved every single minute of our stay and were very sad to leave.
