We have just got back from our honeymoon and the finale of our holiday was three nights at Motswari private game reserve. I can't speak highly enough of this place. Firstly, the people who work here are so friendly and helpful. They are committed to making sure you have a great experience. Lydia, Shadrach, Goodman, Chad are to name a few of the guys who made our honeymoon so special. Secondly, the knowledge of the guides and trackers who drove us around the park was incredible. It is like they know what the animals are thinking. We enjoyed seeing allsorts of animals from elephants to rhinos and crocs to leopards. My favourite was the little baby elephant that was trying to play with our jeep - she made my morning. Thirdly, the food! Oh my goodness it was indescribable. You could never go hungry! There were muffins in the morning before the drive, a buffet brunch and afternoon tea followed by a four course dinner in the evening. Finally our rooms was beautiful; spacious, clean with an incredibly comfy bed. I was genuinely sad to leave Motswari, they make you feel so welcome, like one of the family. We will definitely go back!

My husband and I have just spent 5 nights at Motswari and cannot fault any aspect of our stay! We have been lucky enough to spend time in Africa over the last twelve years and as a first visit to Motswari we were not disappointed! The 'no fence' accommodation extremely comfortable, the friendliness of ALL the staff, the 'family' atmosphere, the food and of course the reason we visit, the animals, made our stay magical and one that won't be forgotten in a long time. We have to recommend the Bush Walk which was well worth the energy and Thanks to Chad for an unforgettable experience especially when on foot we encountered a herd of elephants at close range. Open top trucks a bonus, experienced guides and trackers, excellent company from the guests we met and of course the staff who made every moment we were there 'special'. Thank you to ALL at Motswari, we shall return. Georgina C.

We have been to Motswari on several occasions, staying at the main lodge and at Geiger's Camp. Our most recent visit was during March this year and ,although all our visits there have been outstanding, this review is about our March visi to the main loddge for four nights..We had a brilliant time. The game viewing was exceptional-on our drives we saw the big five daily, including leopard stalking buffalo and lion on a buffalo kill, and other rare sightings such as honey badger. The rangers really know their subject and are hugely informative about both flora and fauna and do everything to ensure optimal viewing. The accomadation is great-beautifully appointed, spacious and everything you want.Meals are excellent, with a varied and imaginative menu which covers all our preferences, and taken in open but covered restaurants where the view is beautiful.I suppose that the service is what rounds it all off so well-friendly but deferential, efficient, timeous ad very considerate. One is made to feel that nothing is a problem to do and welcome all the way.Motswari is as good as it gets.
