Great service, Friendly staff. We were made to feel at home from the time we arrived. Uncrowded. Unlike some other lodges it does not feel commercialised. Food brilliant. Impressive game drives with knowledgeable tracker and guide. The bedrooms are something to behold. My favorite Lodge in the Kruger. Short shuttle ride from Hoedspruit airport. Looking forward to our next trip. Always sad to leave.
What an idyllic weekend. I have looked at reviews and there just does not seem to be a negative thing to be said about this beautiful place !
The attention to detail, being called by name by all the staff members who felt like friends by the time we left, the food prepared by Prince and his team, the exciting and very eventful game drives with Ryan and Abed-they truly stop at NOTHING to get to the animals! Nadine and Bri with their interesting stories and friendly smiles, Bongani with his friendly welcome at each meal, the wide variety of animals, the spiders( not so great although beautiful), the elephants coming right up close to say hello, the beautiful rooms, the space, the views.....This is a place where I think I found a piece of me that has been missing for a while!
What a place! Stunning accomodation, setting and interior !! The food was a feast of tastes and colour!! Only downside was when we left we were uncomfortably approached by the villas cleaning lady and asked for tipping her. We, normally in such a lodge, leave gratuity for the whole lodge...... she wasnt impressed as we told her that we were doing that. As i said.... overall great experience!!

I have stayed in many places around the world and can honestly say that this is the most welcoming relaxing friendly yet professional establishment I have had the pleasure of staying at.
Add to that the game drives and amazing variety of wildlife we saw - what more could you ask for.
A big thank you to Ronel and her staff, Mike, Matt, Nick, Pete, Bonz, Prince, Anne, Gabriel to name a few - all wonderful people.
If only 6 stars was an option - we will be back...!

We had a three night stay with our son and all I can say is the whole experience was beyond anything we could have wished for!
The staff Mike, Matt , Obed, Bongs, Prince, Jimmy and all the staff were exceptional. Special mention to Prince who's food is some of the best we have ever eaten!!
An incredibly luxurious place to stay but with a fantastic casual feel and memories that will last a lifetime
