Guides were very knowledgeable and we saw all the "big five" in our two night visit. Facilities and staff were excellent. We had a "surprise" full hot breakfast picnic in the bush which was a wonderful touch and quite delicious. Suggest staying more than two nights to have more time to enjoy this beautiful lodge and its facilities.

I have never had such rewarding, fun and special game trips as with Ngala. We saw wild dogs, many leopard sightings, lions- everything except Rhino- which our friends saw with their guide.
, The difference between this lodge and others-lies in the care, the service and passion of the staff. These sightings were made possible by the effort and instinct- hard work of the ranger Jenny and the Fab tracker Elvis. The nightly "events and surprises" were wonderful. A dream safari!

We booked our trip of a lifetime through Rothschilds Safaris which included a stay at Ngala. We were absolutely amazed at the quality of the camp from accomodations to food to the game drives. It completely exceeded our expectations and we would return in a heartbeat to experience the wondrous days and nights at this fabulous venue. Many thanks to Rothschilds who set this all up along with the rest of our trip to Johannesburg, Cape Town and Victoria Falls. EXCEPTIONAL travel company!

We recently spent three days here. Access is a bit of a trial since it is several hours from an airport (unless you make a charter small plane arrangement). But the trip is well worth it. The property is an unfenced adjacency to Kruger National Park so the animals can roam freely. Before we even got to the Lodge we had seen elephants and zebras grazing on the access road. There were warthogs "mowing" the grass at the Lodge and Cape Buffalo wallowing within 50 yards. On the first day with a truly knowledgeable ranger (guide) and spotter we saw some of even the most elusive animals. Certainly we saw many elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, and zebras but our guide, Erich, was also very interested in birds and helped us to see ones we would have missed. The food was good, and the service terrific, with a specific staff person (butler) assigned to make sure that we were well cared for. The room, bathroom and linens were all good -- not over the top, but good. And to top it off, the AC worked like a charm and the internet also. We are an older couple, this time traveling with a grown child, and we all found it amazing.

We came here as part of our honeymoon and It was honestly the best trip we've ever been on, everything about Ngala was way above our expectations, the food the lodges the staff, we would100% recommend them. We had our game drives with Elliot and Areb, both great men who made sure they found every Animal we wanted to see with they're unbelievable knowledge and patience, we can't thank them enough!
Every day at Ngala was different with surprises on your game drives and on your return, the staff go out of they're way to treat you like royalty. We had Moses as our butler who looked after us in every way possible! Ngala Safari made our honeymoon unforgettable and we will treasure our memory's there for life! Thank you to everyone at Ngala you are amazing.
