We stayed here for a night but did 2 drives and a bush walk. Adam our guide was really the coolest and did his very best to deliver whatever nature had to offer. The food was pretty good. I remember seeing a bit of wild life right outside the lodge.

Stayed there just for one night, but would come back for sure. Really helpful and friendly staff, especially the nice students and trainees from IHA who prepared good food and supported us in all belongings :-) the room was very clean and the whole lodge made a good Impression including a cute pool :-)

First time we have been to a safari and these guys have done a great job!
Adam, Allister and Musa have taken us out on Bush Walks or Game Drives and we had an absolutely lovely Bush BBQ one night. I would have loved to stay longer and could have gone on listening to the guys telling about the animals, their poo, their foot prints....
We did other safaris as well but the way these guys do it is special cause you can feel that they are doing it with heart and soul. Thank you so much for the great time and take care!
btw the accomodation, food and everything else was also great.

@Allister: the last pic is for you, Zanzibar beach ;-) Liz

Hi guys

Thanks for the "WOW" review.

I shall pass on your compliments to Alistair, Adam and Musa. We are pleased to see that you regard them as superior to other guides you have experienced on other safaris - putting their heart and soul into their job is a rare passion !

We are pleased that the food accommodation and everything else was great - appreciated !

Kind regards

Piero

I just returned from a trip of a lifetime ~ thus far!
A friend and I did a 9 day volunteer safari with VIVA Safaris. We split our week between safaris and volunteer work at the Funjwa Primary School. We were able to go on many game drives, bush walks and days in Kruger Park!
The staff were incredible...our guide Bongani was second to none! He spent the entire week with us and we could have no one better.
We stayed primarily at Tremisana Lodge but did spend 1 night at Marc's Tree House. The accommodations were excellent, the food was very good...the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
The best part of the week was however working with the children...for those who have so little, their hearts and smiles were as big and bright as the sun above. I learned so much from these children and truly feeled blessed to have had this opportunity!

Wonderful guides who all answered to my questions, even the creasiest ones! We had good food, very cosy rooms. The reserve is really beautiful and has this wild side with its bumpy roads, its smell of dust and flowers (I miss that already).
I recommend the night drive with diner and the walk in the morning!!! You will learn a lot about the animals and the trees!
