It’s been 5 years since we were there my memories stay intact. It was a magical place. Superb people. Guests and staff. And made Africa come alive and stay powerful in our minds. The size of Notten’s made it all worth it.

What a truly magical get away in the middle of the bush.
From the time we got there +-3pm, we didn’t even get a chance to unpack, we were whisper away to a late lunch “bobotie” to be exact with a little salad, then straight afterwards on to our first game drive.
Thomas was our ranger, what a world class guy. He has to be one of the best in the game. Thomas took us on a tour, that we never ever forget. From day 1, till the last day we bush wacked the Sabie bush like you have know idea. Out of the 5 days we were there, we saw all the full big five 3 of the 5 days. That’s not to mention all the other game we saw in between all of that.
The property is neatly unkept and rooms are very luxurious and modern.
The staff were always friendly and pleasant and very attentive to what our needs were.
Jan and her amazing gastronomical experiences, from breakfast’s to lunches and candle lit dinners. Thank you it was a really superb experience.

I don't know if words will actually do justice to this piece of heaven in Sabi Sands reserve... everything from the comfortable, beautiful yet understated rooms to the kindness, warmth and generosity of the staff, to the EXCEPTIONAL game viewing and overall experience. The thing I love the most about it is that despite being a commercial camp, it is anything but commercial. Every touch is personal and you leave feeling like family.
The moment we got home I wanted to go back and will be going there again and again when I need a bush break. Thanks to Dave, Dale and the wonderful staff. A special thanks to Tinyiko for being so obliging and taking us on wonderful game drives. Nottens is a place not to be missed.
Wow, wow and wow again!! What an incredible stay at Nottens Bush camp! We have been fortunate enough to experience over ten other lodges in the Sabi Sands and this is hands down the best lodge! Our ranger Tinky was outstanding and the sightings were unbelievable, all the big five and more. The best leopard sightings we have ever had and some amazing photographic opportunities. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful and staff are amazing, so professional, polite and attentive. I was blown away by how proactive the staff were. I have never experienced anything like this before, they are always thinking about what their guests might need next. It was also great to have drinks included in the cost so you don't have to keep track of all the extras you add on during your stay. The food was plentiful and so tasty, we longed for each meal, although we need to get back into the gym now. Nottens even has a gym if you have time during your relaxing stay to have a workout. The 20m infinity pool was the best, we loved relaxing here on the deck chairs with a cocktail, dipping in as often as we could. The spa pool was also great to enjoy and was a bit cooler in the midday sun. It was the unexpected things that Nottens did that made this stay so memorable. On our first night stopping for sundowners they had set out a beautiful setting for the guests with lanterns, drinks, snacks and stories around the fire. I would highly recommend this lodge to couples and families who are looking for a truly memorable bush experience with some very special touches.
Wow, where to begin. I can't cover it all so I'll just say: this place was paradise. From the big family room to the grounds to the staff and the food... plus the incredible safari drives. We felt spoiled from the minute we arrived. And they were so good with our children. Five stars in every way.
