Description: The White Horse Inn at Quidhampton is a small traditional village pub just 2 miles from the centre of Salisbury, one mile from historic Wilton and only 9 miles form Stonehenge. We pride ourselves on our home cooked traditional menu, which uses seasonal locally sourced produce wherever possible. Our bar serves well kept cask ales; Exmoor Ale is our regular house ale and our other hand pulls offer a regularly changing guest ales. Additionally, an extensive wine list offers something to match every meal we serve.

It was a totally unknown place to me and I found the staff to be very helpful and approachable as I had the problem of being a wheelchair user. It was unfortunate that they don’t have a lift but as I was able to stand there was no problem with assistance.

I saw a sirloin stake on a board which I am determined to let later\

Stayed at the Cricketfield House Guest House (which was great) not far from this pub - and they booked us a cab and dinner in this local pub. Owners were adorable - we arrived right on opening time and they chatted with us and made us feel very welcome! Had a few drinks and a game of cards and then had a great pub dinner.
I had the goats cheese and red onion tart and John had the broccoli soup - both yummy but mine was the best :-) and then we both had the Guinness Pie for our mains. Absolutely delicious, filling and hearty.
The pub got very full with happy drinkers and diners and we had a lovely night. Staff were delightful!!

We were stuck in endless traffic jams and saw a notice for the White Horse. We decided to try it for lunch, it was wonderful! We arrived and were greeted by a friendly young lady and pointed to a blackboard menu. I had a toad in the hole and my wife had the sea bass, both were lovely.
The ethos of the place, the lovely food, and the friendliness of the staff could not be bettered, and if we’re ever around here again we will be returning for sure. A really lovely find, thanks to whoever put the sign out!

Lovely village pub, basic is doing it a disservice. Fresh beer and a ploughman's. Beer cold. Salad Crisp. Beetroot, piccalilli, pickle and a pickled onion all lovely, chilled, and tangy. Mature cheddar very tasty. Homemade honey roast ham tender as you like. Nice little garden with umbrellas. Well worth a visit, Extremely reasonable prices and good quality pub grub.
