Had a beautiful, relaxing holiday in Bay View apartments!
Aneta, the owner was SO helpful! She collected us from the airport, took us to a supermarket en route to the apartment. She advised us on places to see, restaurants to eat in,etc.
The apartment is a very spacious - has everything you need! Inc beach towels. Some amazing sunsets from the balcony! Aneta also gave us a plate of cheese and prosciutto and showed us where to buy bread, olives and cheeses from. Its a short walk to the beach club and restaurants. Worth a saunter to Porto Montegro too. If you walk out the other side of Porto, there are some lovely bars/restaurants there too.
We went by bus to Kotor - really worth a visit to the old town - quite an experience by bus too (narrow coastal road!). We climbed to the top of the hill/fortress - well worth it for the view.
We also went to Budva - again the old town is very interesting. I think our best day was a boat trip on a boat called Vesna (Aneta organised it for us). We spent the whole day on the boat and got to see some fantastic places, calling at a beach/caves, an island with a church, finishing in Kotor.

Just returned from this great 1 bedroom apartment with wonderful bay views in the small village of Donja Lastva. Very clean and well equipped, even included beach towels which saved room in our cases. Made use of a washing machine and outside griddle on several occasions. Supermarket, restaurants and beach club all within easy walking distance, as is Porto Montenegro which is a pleasant stroll along the side of the bay. Because of the design of the apartment, always felt cool even when over 35 degrees on the terrace, however, there is very effective AC in the bedroom.
The apartment has a shared terrace with 2 others, however, each has it's own designated separate area. We had the opportunity of regularly speaking to the lovely families staying in these 2 other apartments, both from other parts of the world and this helped enhance our stay.
Easy to get to Kortor by bus, which is well worth the visit, especially the climb up the 1355,steps of the town walls - rewarded by wonderful views.
Budva also worth a visit, again by bus, where you can wander through the narrow streets of the old town.
Aneta, the owner, was delightful, she met us at the airport for a small charge, took us to a supermarket to stock up on initial provisions and provided useful local information.
Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay here due to a family bereavement back home. It was really appreciated the support Aneta provided, including printing of our new boarding passes (mobile boarding passes not accepted at Tivat) and taking us back to the airport.
Despite the situation we found ourselves in, we had a great time staying here & would recommend it to anyone.
