In common with many places during the winter season, I was the only guest. The welcome was genuine and warm, and the room was enormous compared to anything you will get from a B&B in Britain, especially from a solo traveller perspective! It also benefits from proximity to restaurants on the opposite side of the road for an evening meal.

Hi John,

Thank you for this review.

Yes, winter is always a bit on the slow side and accommodation availability at a peak.
Glad to know that you appreciated our very (45sqm) spacious suites.
Cannot believe that traveling through the vast open spaces of the Karoo that some travelers are satisfied to stay in a 2 x 4 room and be happy about it. With this in mind we, from the word "Go", set out to offer space, comfort and a touch of luxury.

The hosts are very friendly and can tell you anything you would like to know about the area. The b&b has a beautiful garden and a refreshing pool and the rooms are very quiet. Moreover it has a good breakfast.

Hi Klara,

Thank you.

Glad to know that you enjoyed our facilitie
Thought that you wanted to know that;
The Swartberg Mountain range form the natural border between the Great and Little Karoo.
Prince Albert lies to the north of this range and is settled in the Great Karoo.
Prince Albert enjoy a Micro, almost Sub-tropical, Climate and remain green throughout the year

WOW thank you to George, Elsabe and Ragnhild. You certainly have a wonderful little getaway in Prince Albert,
Gorgeous spacious (large) rooms, beautiful bathrooms, patio's and rolling property. Excellent security for those that are concerned about security although really not essential in this quaint town.
Delicious breakfast - freshly cooked per order. But more importantly the time that you all took to make us feel so special. Spending time talking to us, checking that we were comfortable and warm.
Ragnhild - what a delight in the breakfast room - happy, warm, welcoming and charming you truly made our morning. Nothing was to much trouble
George & Elsabe, laughter is certainly the best medicine -sorry we did not get to eat dinner with you as George has quite a reputation in the kitchen, your breakfast was simply delicious and huge - kept us going the whole day :)
To anyone travelling to Prince Albert, look no further - the rooms are simply wonderful - they go beyond expectation of comfort and space. Pool although we did not use it is beautifully located and one can only imagine that in summer it is one of the best spots to be. Old farm style patios outside rooms all facing north - allows for glorious full day sun!
The property is located off the road a HUGE plus especially if you wanting that bit of peace and quite. Our room faced an olive grove with the magestic Swartberg Mountains - breathtakingly beautiful.
Everthing in the town is within walking distance and with easy accessibility
Anyone travelling do take note that this is a water scarce area and one needs to adhere to the requests of no bathing but the showers are stunning and unusual in design well worth skipping the bath to enjoy the shower.
Thank you for helping us to create wonderful memories, definitely a property we would return to and highly recommend.

A lovely accommodating couple who displayed true SA hospitality. Their daughter is a gem as well. The room was warm and supplied all our needs. The bed divine. Breakfast was delicious, just what was needed for the way home.
