Although it was heart breaking to drive through the barren and stoney veld to get to the olive farm, once there, the tranquillity of the surroundings worked its magic on us. We chose to sit outside quite close to the fountains in the little spot of green oasis between the two buildings It was there we enjoyed a platter, laden with local deli products and of course the scrumptious olives. The view towards the town was attractive and we spent a leisurely time feasting on typical Karoo cuisine. We thought that the platters were incredible value for money... I loved their tender pieces of lamb braised in tomato and olives!
The shop stocks an interesting array of local products, many but not all of them, olive related.

Nice deli products, not just olive-based but other deli products. There's also a cafe/restaurant on site.

If we hadn't been recommended to go here we wouldn't have found it. You leave the tarmac and drive down a rough track until you spot a sign for the restaurant, one eats in a rustic dining area overlooking a small garden, the menu is small but really good and our waitress was absolutely charming. Do go here for lunch.

Absolutely one of the greatest experiences so far. Its tranquility and easy going atmosphere compliment just this for a holiday. But the food is the best. Go for a platter and a bottle of wine. Fantastic!! Staff is great and very helpful. I love this place and its simplicity. Perfectly priced.
