Only R20 which I think is worthwhile to spend 30 mins looking at old things. Staff were on hand if you had any questions, but most of the items are self explanatory. If you have some time while in town, go and support them.
There is also a fossil room.

A gem, telling the story of the town and the area, lovingly guided by local volunteers. It is worth a visit, as all displays are local and authentic and the story they tell is fascinating.

This museum is an absolute gem. It gives a real sense of the history of Prince Albert and the characters who shaped it. It’s immaculately catalogued and labelled. We found the section on the San particularly interesting. For a nominal entrance fee, this museum is so worth a visit.

This museum plays such an important role in preserving Prince Albert's rich history and heritage. It was very interesting and the staff really knew their stuff! Can definitely recommend!

Not for nothing did this museum have a "Best museum in the W Cape" award. It is a fascinating museum covering much history as well as geology, paleontology and other aspects of the region.
Best to do this after the "Ghost walk" and then also ask the museum staff about their experiences of the ghost!
