It had very good reviews but we got a mixed reaction from locals. Very small dining area and eccentric hosts, but the background music was very pleasant.
The owners had warned us when booking that it was cash only and that it wasn't licenced so we had to bring our own wine.
Menu only has three items on it, slow roasted Karoo Lamb, Bobotie or Chicken Pie. The Karoo Lamb was good, but my Bobotie was average. I have had a lot better. Servings are big and we were offered seconds.
The highlight was the shaed malva pudding and ice cream, followed by a walk home stargazing at the incredible night sky.
Wouldn't be my first choice when I next visit Prince Albert
