Excellent traditional subcontinent food, full of flavour!! Take their advice on the level of spice and heat - the kitchen does not mix their chilli metaphors. Top class!

9 months ago, we ordered takeaways from the Indian Oven and were extremely disappointed by the watery, thin sauces, lacking the depth of exquisite flavours we were accustomed to from the same place. I wrote a review expressing our disappointment. The owner Neil, responded most graciously, apologizing for the slip in quality and offered us meal replacements when it suited us. Tonight was the first opportunity we had and were very pleasantly impressed by Neil, who, despite the lapse of many months, sincerely and warmly, followed up on his offer. We had a Dal Makhni and and a Vegan aubergine curry, both of which were superb. Excellent turning around and handling of a negative experience. Thank you Neil, we'll be back
