My family and I have frequented this restaurant numerous times and we have always enjoyed really authentic indian food. The Chicken Tikka is amazing and the curry's are always really tasty and plenty of the right spices.
I would thoroughly reccomend this restaurant and Neil and Debbie are the finest hosts.
You will not be dissapointed.

Outstanding, authentic food. A vast menu to choose from including lots of vegan options which is a bonus these days. The portions are extremely generous ( we needed a doggy bag to enjoy the next day!) and the service was outstanding. Prices are very good too!
Covid rules are firmly in place but not stifling. Tables are well spaced and the restaurant is open with lots of natural airflow so we felt very at ease.
This restaurant has risen to the occasion and is going the extra mile to keep scarce patrons coming back. Well done!
We booked a table for 9 of us last night for my husbands Birthday. Neil and his team could not have done more to accommodate us and our requests. The food was outstanding and everyone loved what they ordered. We have been here often and never been disappointed. Thank you
My family and I went to the Indian Oven for a celebratory meal. It was simply amazing. We shared 3 different curries and could not agree on what was the best of the 3. The mix of flavours joined into a real taste sensation.
We had been advised by knowledgeable foodie friends that this was the best Indian restaurant in Cape Town, so though it was a bit of a trek for us, we decided to try it. I don’t have enough experience of other restaurants to make the same claim, but it is certainly the best one I have been to in South Africa, and rivals some of the places my son and I went to in Delhi.
Sitting outside, with lots of space, also made us feel safe in the context of Covid19, together with the fact that the staff all wore their masks correctly and continually.
