Cheyne's is cozy and intimate and chef has a intriguing business model unfolding. The food is always delectable, service subtle...perfect winter venue.

Came here for post dinner desserts and love it. ''Exotic'' and interesting menu. Friendly staff and owner. Love the gallery, too.

This is tapas from heaven! You have a choice from the sea (fish), the land (meat) salads and then dessert. You can easily order one from each section and the food was fabulous, tasty, well presented and overall a great food experience.
Service was not up to standard with the food and unfortunate. The restaurant is also small, so expect to go home with earache or a sore throat as you cannot have a decent conversation with your friends around the table as the tables are just too close to each other in the small space available. This was really frustrating and we asked later to change tables as it just got too much with a large rowdy table next to us. Will I recommend this restaurant - for sure, the food is worth it a thousand times! but just know that the noise can be an issue for some.

First went here last year and was really impressed...went again last night and had just as good an experience...novel take on eastern flavours. All the fish dishes are just superb. the chilli beef was hot stuff but cooled in down with the apple and mango slaw. Pudding which included back sesame seed ice cream was stunning....if i have a criticism at all it is that there may be too many contrasting flavours so i'd recommend reading all of the ingredients before selecting your options your experience will be more balanced.
