Nestled beneath the mountains, with stretching views back to Hout Bay and the sea, this place offers homely comfort, character, tranquility and a place to relax away from the City. Room 3 has a decent shower room, comfortable double and single beds and a useful kitchenette - 2 ring burner, fridge, microwave etc. The indoor and outside communal areas are great - sofas, super vistas... A car is a must ; 6 minute drive to Hout Bay centre. Standout is the warm and ‘vibrant’ service from the staff - bar none !

We had an amazing Family room with an awesome view. 2 separate bedrooms and a large comfortable living room. 2 bathrooms. The view from the room was spectecular. The hosts Lilian and Derek are really lovely and will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. We will return, for sure.

A truly amazing Lodge nestled amongst the trees and at the foot of stunning mountain range. It is a piece of heaven. Quiet, serene and safe. Spent 5 days with my family and received excellent service from hosts Lilien and Derek. They always made sure that we were comfy. Made special breakfast arrangement as we are strict vegetarians. Was a relief to see that there was no more shortage of water. It rained tremendously and the levels of the water in the dams is excellent. Fresh, lush and green everywhere! NO MORE DROUGHTS! PAS DE SECHERESSE!!!
We will be back! Neeta & family from Mauritius:)

Room tip: We stayed in room 7 - was quiet and refreshing

Hi
Many thanks for your kind words.
Indeed it is a huge relief that the rains have arrived and possibly signal an end to the drought
