We had an amazing Family room with an awesome view. 2 separate bedrooms and a large comfortable living room. 2 bathrooms. The view from the room was spectecular. The hosts Lilian and Derek are really lovely and will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. We will return, for sure.

A truly amazing Lodge nestled amongst the trees and at the foot of stunning mountain range. It is a piece of heaven. Quiet, serene and safe. Spent 5 days with my family and received excellent service from hosts Lilien and Derek. They always made sure that we were comfy. Made special breakfast arrangement as we are strict vegetarians. Was a relief to see that there was no more shortage of water. It rained tremendously and the levels of the water in the dams is excellent. Fresh, lush and green everywhere! NO MORE DROUGHTS! PAS DE SECHERESSE!!!
We will be back! Neeta & family from Mauritius:)

Room tip: We stayed in room 7 - was quiet and refreshing

cape town drought is over. This lodge is a little peace of heaven. With a stunning virw of the bay and surronded by lush trees it is breath taking. My stay was made more enjoyable by the hospitality of Derek and Lillian and the staffs attention to making me comfortable and feeling special. Loved the stay. Aveena

Hi
Many thanks for your kind words.
Indeed it is a huge relief that the rains have arrived and possibly signal an end to the drought

On the outskirts of Hout Bay set up in the mountains with truely amazing views down onto Chapmans Peak and Hout bay. Secure parking. We had a family room which was in the main lodge - massive king size bed in one room with shower / sink unit in the same room and through an arch into a room with twin beds. Comfy beds and duvets. Also a small seperate living area with sofa, chair and coffee table. Amazing very large patio area with table and chairs for 4 overlooking the pool. Downstairs in the main lodge there is a communal breakfast buffet area, a large communal lounge and other large patio areas. Breakfast was divine - good choice and freshly cooked hot food if you also want that. There are 6 or 7 units on the entire property so never too busy. Pool with couple of sunbeds too and another patio table and chairs to seat 8 Always space to find a quiet spot. There is an onsite manager 24x7 and the owners are generally about in the day although they live offsite, 10 mins away.

Only book if u really go! Had to cancel our stay via booking.com - Victorskloof didn't manage to pay deposit back, even after 4 Mails and 1 phone call!! Booking.com had to arrange repayment at the end, after more than 7 weeks! Very unfaithful...

Please accept my apologies for this delay which is unacceptable.
The initial problem was that we were unable to credit or refund the foreign credit card used
Booking.com has on a numerous occasions done the refund and billed me as was the case in this instance.
The time taken to effect this was unacceptable and I understand your frustration for which I once again would like to apologize.
Regards
