we were situated in the Long room and the inside is like a ship so you have different areas to be seated and different rooms. The attire of the waiters and waitress is that of a sailor and you could easily think you on board a ship sailing the coast.

We had the wharfside salad + mariners curry asked for spicy and the sole.
All of our meals were delicious and service was good, The ambience of the restaurant is good as you have a great view of the bay and the sea. You can enjoy a good meal and view from the inside.

This would definitely be on our list again when visiting Hout Bay.

Conveniently located, cool decor, outstanding service and all around friendly place. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food but everything that passed our table looked amazing and the diners all seemed happy.

We expected more of a fish & chip vibe and think that we went to the wrong place as it’s a bit confusing with the up and downstairs restaurant. The waiters seemed a bit arrogant and food was average.

We enjoyed excellent Bloody Marys here and an interesting breakfast with haddock and eggs. Not the usual breakfast fare, but delicious and well worth trying.

Service was great: manager, hostess and server, Teddy, were very personable and talked with us for a long time.
